Testimonials

Todd was a great tutor. After having only a month to prepare for the GRE and a long break since my undergraduate /high school degrees, he was able to get me up to speed on key areas I needed help in – and ultimately, was able to pass my exam to get into Columbia! Highly recommend.

Google Review

I can’t speak highly enough of Todd at NYC Top Tutors.

Thanks to him I was able to get the scores I needed for the GRE.

My biggest challenge was the QC/Math sections. For me, it was all material that I had never learned as a kid and starting with math at 30 from the beginning was something I really needed help with.

Todd helped me break down the material, assigned homework assignments, set goals. He was really pleasant to work with but also provided motivation when I felt frustrated.

Once I had the necessary math knowledge, we focused on timing and techniques that only someone with years of GRE expertise could provide. This expertise is what allowed me to score in the range that I need for Harvard GSD.

He was also super helpful with the essay portion and the reading comprehension.

Essays 4, QC 154, Reading comp 160. Super happy that I had my scores from the first test and did not need to take a second time.

And I made a new friend in the process!
