Before your first tutoring session, we strongly recommend that you chat with us on the phone or through Zoom. During our initial consultation, we can find out more about the student and answer questions that you may have.

We use recent exams or homework to customize your tutoring session. These assignments help us gain insight into your student’s strengths and/or weaknesses.

Personalized 1-on-1 Tutoring Session

One-on-one math tutoring is an ideal environment to bridge knowledge gaps, re-build confidence, and help struggling learners. Your 4th grade math tutor will catch you up via focused, personalized attention. We diagnose learning obstacles and prescribe a customized course of action to accelerate your academic progress.

During your virtual tutoring session, we teach you the content which builds confidence. We will develop your critical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Your tutor will assign homework to reinforce understanding of the material.

Feedback & Planning

After each tutoring session, your tutor emails a lesson summary. This lesson summary keeps both parents and students informed about your progress.

The lesson summary explains which topics were covered, assigns homework, and plans for future lessons. In addition, lesson summaries will explain any areas of weakness or improvement.

Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions or address your concerns. We are always available to speak with a student, parent, or teacher. When necessary, we will communicate with their teachers to discuss the curriculum and areas of concern.
